Biography

Annie Thomson was born in Scarborough Township in 1841. She was the daughter of Simon Thomson and Elizabeth Johnston. She married James Chatres Brown in York in 1862.

Thomson or Thompson - Her father spelled the surname without a "p". Her maiden name at her marriage was Thompson. As well, her son Simon's middle name was Thompson.
