Biography

John was born on January 10, 1876 in Musquash, Saint John County, New Brunswick. He was a son of Robert Thompson and Sarah Ann (Wenn) Thompson.[1][2]

In 1901, he lived in the city of Saint John and was a Machinist. According to a later account, he worked for a newspaper printing company and became a mechanical superintendant.[3][4][2]

He married Alberta May Mawhinney on October 2, 1901 in Charlotte County. She was a daughter of Robert and Matilda Mawhinney of Mace's Bay.[3]

John passed away on October 27, 1950 at the age of 74. He was interred at the Fernhill Cemetery in Saint John.[4][2]
