Biography
Nancy Anne Meriwether Thompson was born on 13 March 1789 in Louisa, Virginia, the daughter of Waddy Thompson Jr. and Elizabeth Anderson. Her siblings were: Nelson, Anderson, Elizabeth, David, Mary, Jasper, Nicholas, Louisa, David, Francis, Cecilia and Sarah.
She married Thomas Jefferson Anderson on 23 May 1806 in Bedford, Virginia.
Their children are:

- Mariah Gist Anderson - 1813-1869
- Louisa A. Anderson - 1817-1907
- John Smith Anderson - b. 1818
