Biography

Isabella Thompson was born in 1742. Isabella married Captain James Herndon in about 1761.[1]

She and James had eight children who have been recorded with their spouses in "The descendants of William and Sarah (Poe) Herndon, of Caroline County, Va., and Chatham County, N.C"[2]

According to the family Bible, she passed away in 1802 at her home which was 10 miles east of Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky. [3]
