Biography

Frank Thomas Sr. was a centenarian, living to age 100.

Frank was born in 1889. He is the son of Jesse Thomas and Virginia Sutherland. He married Mona Bruns. They have 1 child: Frank Jr. Frank and his wife, Mona, both lived to be 100 years old. He passed in 1989. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles County, California

Frank was a character actor on the stage, screen, and television. He started his acting career on Broadway in 1914. He was in such films as We Who Are About To Die (1937), A Man to Remember (1938), A Shot In the Dark (1941), Desert Trail (1942), and No Place for a Lady (1943). From the 1950's thru the 1970's, he was in televisions show, including, The Phil Silvers Show, Paradise Bay, The Shadow, and Robert Montgomery Presents. He made his last screen appearance in 1976 in "The Killing of a Chinese Bookie".
