Biography

Ann Caygill Thomas, daughter of William Thomas, joiner & Mary Anne, resided on Christian Street and was baptised on 23 April 1821 in St Peter's Church in Liverpool, Lancashire, England by P. Bulmer, Curate.[1] [2]

Ann married Peace Ward, stuff presser, on 5 January 1843 at the Collegiate Church of St Mary, St Denys and St George in Manchester.[2] Together they had at least 3 children.

  3. Joseph Ward (1847–1893)

In the 1851 census Ann (age 30) was the wife of Peace Ward on Health Street, Yorkshire, England. Her husband was a Stuff Presser.[3]
