Biography

James was born in 1834. He is the son of Francis Thomas and Sarah Branscomb.

In the 1860 US Census, Floyd (age 24) was in Wayne, Kentucky, United States.^[2]

James was in a military record on 19 October 1861 in Camp Trousdale. He was in the Thirty-Second Infantry.^[3]

Floyd (age 30) married Mary Ann Wray (age 26) on 14 December 1865 in Wayne, Kentucky, United States.^[4]

In the 1870 US Census, Floyd (age 34) was the head of household in Monticello, Wayne, Kentucky, United States.^[5]

In the 1880 census Floyd (age 44), Blacksmith, was the married head of household in Monticello, Wayne, Kentucky, United States.^[6]
