Biography

Mary was born in 1832 and baptised on October 21 in Crowan. She is the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Blewett^[1].

She married Silas Varcoe on May 10, 1849 in the district of Camborne. Her residence was shown as Tolcarne St. The witnesses were John Marks and John Duckham^[2].

In 1851 she was living in Camborne, Cornwall with her husband, Silas and son Joseph (2). She is recorded as being a Miner's Wife and aged 19(still!)^[3]

She arrived with Silas and children (Joseph 11, William 7, John 5, Mary Ann 3 and Silas 1) on the Grand Trianon at Port Adelaide on April 23, 1860 ^[4]

She passed away in 1875^[5].
