Honor Code SignatorySigned 23 Jan 2015 | 839 contributions | 26 thank-yous | 784 connections
I was born in Rochester, New York into a musical family, the son of John T. Thomas and Bessie M. (Mimi) Parsons Thomas. I studied at Northwestern University, Eastman School of Music and the University of Minnesota, where I received a PhD. My music is published by a dozen firms, and I’ve composed extensively for orchestra, band, chamber ensembles, choirs, the voice, piano and other keyboards. I also enjoy choral singing and playing chamber music at the piano. I’m active in the local St. David’s Society and enjoy exploring my Welsh heritage as well as my other ancestry. More about my music at www.davidevanthomas.com.
