Biography
When Elizabeth dpd Thomas was born on November 11, 1810, in Wythe, Virginia, her father, George, was 36, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 34. She married John Russel Cole on November 16, 1826, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They had 11 children in 25 years. She died on November 17, 1862, in Pickens, Alabama, at the age of 52, and was buried in Lamar, Alabama.
