Biography
Ethel Emily was born in 1900. She is the daughter of Wilfred Thomas and Eleanor Delany.[1] She married William James Borlase in 1920 [2] . She passed away in 1965 age 65 [3] Following her death, Ethel's body was interred on March 5, 1965 in the Orowaiti Cemetery, Westport. [4]
BORLASE, Ethel Emily—On March 3. 1965, at her residence, 140 Derby street. Westport, dearly loved wife of William James Borlase (senior), and loved mother of Edna (Mrs L. O. Head, Christchurch), Dorothy <Mrs V. Clementson, Westport), Evan and Noel (Christchurch), and Bill (Westport); aged 65 years. At rest. Interment at Westport. Tomorrow (Friday), afternoon. Hagedorns Funeral Service. [5]
