Francoise-Josephe Theriot was born about 1733 in Acadie. She was the daughter of Joseph Theriot and Francoise Melancoise. She married Charles Henry about 1752 in Acadie. She was 19 on the census of Isle St. Jean, Acadie taken in 1752.[1][2]The family was deported from Acadie and lived in France where three children were born. Francoise died in France and was buried 29 Dec 1759 at Cherbourg, Manche, France[3]

at Rivière-de-l'Ouest : Charles Henry, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 20 years, has been in the country nine months. Married to Françoise Josèphe Terriaud, native of l'Acadie, aged 19 years. Their live stock all told consists of two pigs.
The land on which they are settled is that of Joseph Terriaud, their father and father in law. They have sown a bushel of wheat and hope to sow four more next spring.
