Hi Betty,

Thanks for creating pre-1700 profiles like Elizabeth (Sabin) Robinson (abt.1698-abt.1742) and Israel Sabin (abt.1673-abt.1756).

Our community standard is that all pre-1700 profiles require at least one reliable source be cited in order to proceed with creation. (Please see Help citing pre-1700 profiles) In the case of the two above, you indicated "Family Search," which as described does not appear to be reliable. A reliable source provides sufficient information for another researcher to find and confirm your research, so "Family Search" is an insufficient description to permit another to replicate your research. Please elaborate on exactly what family record you are relying upon and hopefully, with that description, it can be seen to be reliable. Reliable sources are generally primary or secondary sources.

This is the link to Reliable Sources page that has the various projects sourcing guidelines. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Reliable_Sources_for_Pre-1700_Profiles

A birth/death location, even if it's only the country, should be put on each profile as well. The G2G forum is a great place to ask for help or advice.

Also, Israel Sabin (abt.1673-abt.1756) is probably a duplicate of Israel Sabin (1673-aft.1718) and needs to be verified.

Thanks, Gisèle Cormier

I am looking for the document where I saw where some of the Billington children had to be placed with the other families. One of the Billington children was placed with the Sabin family. Read so many documents so I have to sort through them.

Hi Betty--

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.

I suggest for your tags: French Roots Project (leader is Isabelle Rassinot), United Kingdom which covers England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Leader for this are Maria Maxwell, Doug Straiton and Susie McLeod. Complete Project list: Projects

After joining a project, Please add the project tag (s) to your page to receive current project activity updates.

Questions?, Just Ask me!!.

Hello Betty I was asked to contact you by David Wilson. The reason it doesn't show your connection to Peter Gorbet is because he hasn't been linked to your profile. It doesn't have your parents so it doesn't link you to any of your ancestors

Hi Betty,

Regarding the message you placed on my profile, could you please contact the WikiTree team at [email address removed] It could be that you haven't entered enough of a family lineage to establish the tie and you can create those profiles if you join. I am not familiar with exactly how the DNA matching is set-up.

Cheers!

Hi!

I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Thanks,

Fred
