Anne "Annie" Thatcher (married name Trotter) was born in 1842 in Clifton, Gloucestershire, England, the daughter of Anne (Horner) Thatcher and George Thatcher ^[1].

She married Joseph Trotter in 1864 in Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their children were:

• Ernest Alfred Joseph Trotter (1868–1957)^[3]
• Florence Annie Trotter (1872–1872)^[4]

Annie died in 1872 in Victoria, aged 30 years.^[5]
