Description

This template is used to highlight members of a Society, both living and deceased, who are documented on an approved membership list.

To add this sticker to a profile, place the string similar to the text in Code used: column of Examples table anywhere in the biography part of the profile. Usually you should put it next to the text describing a Sticker, but it should always be below the == Biography == heading and above the == Sources == heading.

Notes

Use the Society Ancestor sticker for ancestors, including DAR Patriot Ancestors - see Template: Society Ancestor for coding to tailor the sticker for supported societies (and which societies are supported by the sticker).
For Patriots recognized by the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR), you can use this sticker or the NSSAR Patriot Ancestor sticker (see Template:NSSAR Patriot Ancestor for that sticker's required parameters).
