Joseph was born about 1838. Son of John Temby and
He passed away in 1889, landlord of the Prince Albert hotel aged 51 [1] and was buried at the Clunes Cemetery on 25 September. [2] [3]

- THE Friends of the late Mr JOSEPH TEMBY are are invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Clunes Cemetery. Funeral to leave his late residence, the Prince Albert Hotel, Bailey street, on Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o’clock. C. H. MURRAY and C. L. MORITZ, Undertakers.
Probate granted on 3 December 1889 to his widow, Margaret of Service St, Clunes. [5]
