Andrew or Andries (son of Willem), was born in 1642. He married on May 6, 1671, in New York, Fijtie aka Sophia, daughter of Oloff Stevense Van Cortlandt.
For many years he was a merchant and magistrate of Albany. About 1671 he removed to New York. He owned a farm in Gd which his father bought in 1659. Will dated Dec. 16, 1702.

Probate admitted Dec. 16, 1702. Andries Teller, NY, merchant, to eldest son Andries 25 pounds NY money and the property where testator now lives which is next to that of Robert Livingston, and that testator's wife and mother of son Andries, Sophia Teller, shall remain in full possession of testator's estate both real and personal however if she re-marries...He then is concerned that some of his children are underage...He mentions his own inheritance from his own father...names wife as sole exe. Names brother-in-law Jacobus van Cortland and brother (given name blotted) Teller as guardians of his children (unnamed except for eldest son Andries. Signed 18 May 1700. [4][5]
The Andries who married Catherine Vandewater is his grandson. His son Andreis. married Anna Verplanke, had a son Andries in 1701 and died in 1702.
