Biography

Nora was born in 1936 in West Virginia. She was the daughter of John Teets and Rosa Koontz. In 1940 the family lived in Lincoln, Marion, West Virginia.^[1]

She married James Arlington Roy (1928-2002) in December 1952 when he was in the U.S. Army.^[2] Their children included:

1. James Alexander Roy (Oct. 1956-Apr.1959) - died at 2 years old from meningococcemia (rare infectious disease)^[3],^[4]
2. 3 more sons

She passed away at age 56 in 1992 in Allegan, Michigan. She was buried in East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia. ^[5],^[6],^[7]
