Biography
He was born on 29 July 1915, in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to Fredrick Tiets and Nellie Hickey.[1]
In 1920, he was living in Bessemer, Lawrence County Pennsylvania. He was living with his Aunt Mary Chaney and her family.[2]
In 1930, he seems to be listed twice in the census. He was living with his mother in wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and was attending school. He was also living with his father in Winfield Magisterial District, Marion County, West Virginia, and was attending school.[3]
On 1 May 1940, he applied for a marriage license. On 5 June 1940, he married Mildred Horner, at Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. They had two children.[4]
On 11 November 1977, he died. Given his residence, he probably died in Pennsylvania. Funeral services were held on 14 November 1977.[5]
