Biography

Sarah Taylor was born in 1780 in Staines, Middlesex. She is the daughter of John Taylor and Elizabeth Gray.

She married Robert Ivins on 25 September 1805 in Penmark, Glamorgan, Wales.

In the England and Wales Census of 1841 she is age 55, living in Penmark with her husband Robert (age 55), son John (age 20), and daughter Lydia (age 12).

In the England and Wales Census of 1851 she is age 68, a Widow, living in Penmark, Glamorgan, Wales with her daughter Lydia Ivins (age 22), son in law Thomas James (age 28), daughter Louisa Ivins James (age 28), and granddaughter Sarah James (age 1).

She died on 14 October 1857 in Penmark at the age of 74.
