Hi Aaron

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Acadia Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Karen ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Hello Aaron,

On behalf of the Acadia Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. Please let me know if you are still active, and if so, in which ways you have contributed to the project, or a sub-project, within the last two months.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Karen ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Please add me to the trusted list for Malinda Nicholson-1673. I am doing some matching and merging for this family and would like to add information to the profile (with sources, as always).

Thank you in advance, Cynthia

Aaron, if you are still active, I have proposed a merge of Layman-422 and Layman-489 over 3 weeks ago, and sent you a private message about it. Could you approve the merge please?

The Acadians Project is being profiled on a Wikitree Video. They are interested in a brief ‘person in the street’ description of the project and what’s new.

Check out the draft using the link below… Are your interests included? http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Acadians

Hi Aaron

Our Acadians project will be profiled June 17 on the WikiTree blog. It will have a table of Acadian First Families including highlights from their profiles. Please check out your family lines here to see if any fixes are needed. Best wishes Annette

I added the Acadian Project member badge to your profile. Thanks for joining! I send out a periodic email newsletter, so you'll be receiving one of those fairly soon. Until then, let me know if you have any questions!

The info. I have on David Mullins, b. 7-25-1790 at Halifax Co., VA and wife, Rebecca Robinson, b. 2-20-1790 in North Carolina. Married 1809 or 1810 in Bunscombe Co., NC

David died 02-17-1866 in Mercer Co., MO and buried at Cain Cemetery in Cainsville, MO Rebeccca died 06-21-1869 in Mercer Co., MO and also buried in Cain Cemetery. Cain Cemetery is named after their son-in-law, Peter Cain who was married to Missouri Ann Mullins. Is this helpful to you and would we be ready to attempt a merger of information?

We are pleased to have you aboard as a member.

Some tips here to begin : HOW TO USE WIKITREE or check out the WikiTree video that a member created . You may want to take a look at sources for help with citing sources.

I am a family historian and a member of my local genealogical society. I enjoy conducting research and helping others. I majority of my research centers in South and Southwest Louisiana. I am also tracing roots back into pre-excile Acadia (New France). Currently I am authoring the biography of Augustus G. Tassin (1838 - 1893) a highly decorated Civil War officer and Indian Scout.
