Henry-Thomas Taschereau is notable for being a former Chief Justice of Québec, serving from 1907 until his death in 1909.[1] He is the brother of Québec premier Louis-Alexandre Taschereau.
Henry Thomas was born on 6 October 1841, and was baptized the following day at Notre-Dame de Québec. He was the son of Jean Thomas Taschereau and Louise Adèle Dionne.[2][3] He married Marie Louise Séverine Pacaud on 22 June 1864 in Saint-Eusèbe de Stanfold.[4][5] Later widowed, he married Coralie Globenski on 15 April 1885 at Saint-Jacques parish in Montréal.[6][7]
