SHINNSTON, W.Va. — Robert Glen Tannehill, 68, of Shinnston, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Great Falls, Montana, January 16, 1952, a son of Elsie Kaul Tannehill Swendseid, who survives, and the late Glenn Meyers Tannehill......

Robert was a veteran having served with the United States Navy. He was formerly employed by Waste Management as a truck driver in the oil field services. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and participating in archery competitions. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Tannehill was cremated. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:30 p.m., Monday, November 16. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown where full military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy and the Harrison County Honor Guard. The Perine Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tannehill family.
