Hi Michael,

Just a question about Dun Laoghaire, rather than relations. I sent my cousin, Brian Richardson, b 1945, a photo of the Cook Record Shop. He reckoned it was close to the Lea dairy and he remembered your sister? Ana Talbot.

I was born D/L 1957 and have no recollection of either place. The only record shop I remember was Muarray's, opposite the Bamboo.

Any information?

Not sure if this is the right place for this? If not, I apologise.

Hi Michael

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions or problems, let me know.

Take care

Hi Michael!

Thank you for upgrading. We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the !world together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do!

Happy tree climbing

Hi Michael

I noticed that you posted on Kathleen O’Keeffe's profile. Her profile does not currently have a profile manager, so no one will be notified about your message. I happened to see it as a result of Greeter duties. If you upgrade you will be able to adopt the profile and build it into your twig of the WikiTree.

If you choose to upgrade and adopt the profile, you will be able to add your sources and information and improve the profile. Then you can connect it to your branch of the tree. Any improvements that you make will go a long way in improving the branches of your ancestry.

If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, please log in to WikiTree and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment to be sure I will be notified. Alternatively, click my name to visit my profile, where you can leave a comment, or send a private message.

Hello Wendy,

Many thanks for your warm welcome to WikiTree. I would appreciate help in how I go about adopting the profile for my mother, Kathleen O'Keeffe. Regards, Michael

Hi Michael

I suggest you upgrade. There is no cost and it will allow you to add your ancestors to WikiTree. Just go to your profile and click Upgrade near the words Guest Member, then answer five questions.

Once you have upgraded, go to your mother’s profile. You should see an [adopt this profile] link next to where it says No Profile Manager. If you click that, you should be added as the Profile Manager.

On your profile go to the Edit tab and on the right side of the screen, click [add mother]. Enter your mother’s WikiTree ID in the field for existing WikiTree ID and save. This will connect you to your mother.

Let me know if you have further questions

Wendy
