Biography

Boleslaw was born about 1919. He was the son of Balys Talago and Katarzyna Talago.

He was the son of Boleslaw Talago, a surveying engineer and Katarzyna Talago ( nee Solinienko). The mother completed nursing courses in Romania. The family moved from Kaminieniec Podolski to Torun, and then to Grudziadz, grodno, Bielsk Podlaski and Vilnius , He had three siblings. Before the outbrake of was , he attended chool in Vilnius. In the fall of 1938 he left Vilnius for Lviv. During the war the family lived in Vilnius. His father was arrested in 1943 and sent to a forced labour camp in Prawieniski. Durug the was he was a non commisioned officer of the 1st Polish Army in1of the Warsaw Cannon Brigade, where he was awarded the rank of ensign. He served as a reconnaissance cheif; in February 1945, he was wounded in the fighting for Nadarzyn. After the was , he was among others employee of the ministry of Lobor, Wages and Social Affairs, activist of the Polish swimming associationand the Polish Motorboat Association, organiser of waterskiing in Poland. incl, Thanks to his efforts , the Water Skiing commission was established. In 1964 he conducted the first judging courses and he was a long term sports judge.

He was married to Halina Talagonee Pancewocz, with whom he had two children. He had a son with Joanna Flatau. In 1963 he married Elzbieta Janiszewska.
