Biography
Lois was born in 1757, in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, daughter of Japheth and Hannah Taft. [1]
Lois married Caleb Farnum.
She passed away in 1792 at age 34. "Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Lois wife of Lt. Caleb Farnum who died Feby. 10th 1792 in ye 35th year of her age." [2]
Research Notes
There are two Lois's born in the Uxbridge/Mendon Vital records who were very close in age: a daughter of Jacob and Esther, and a daughter of Japheth and Hannah. Given that the wife of Caleb Farnum named a son Easman, which is highly unusual, but exists elsewhere in the Jacob/Esther branch, this is the more likely connection.
