Clarence was born 15 September 1922 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was the son of Clarence E. Tabb Sr. And Kathryan I. Laurence

He married Martha Anne Mohead on 31 March 1942 in Madison, Mississippi.[1]

Clarence was the bombardier aboard the B-24 Liberator bomber, G.I. Ginnie, #42-40657, participating in Operation Tidal Wave the low-level attack on the Romanian oil refineries at Ploesti on 1 August 1943. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for the mission.

He passed away 5 July 1995 in Duval County, Florida. [2]
