Biography

George Burns Symes was born on 20 January 1803, and was baptized at Cathedral Holy Trinity in Québec on 27 February 1803. He was the son of George and Angelique Symes.^[1][2] He married Mary Ann Cuvillier on 9 May 1844 at Trinity Memorial Chapel in Montréal.^[3] He died on 12 June 1863, and was buried three days later.^[4] He was buried in Mount Hermon Cemetery in Québec.^[5]
