Biography

Herman Lee Swick was born on 23 Dec 1909 in Licking County, Ohio, United States of America. He was the son of William Swick and Jennie Souder.^[1][2] He was the second oldest of five children. He lived with his parents, siblings and various extended family in Liberty Township, Licking County, Ohio until at least 1950.^[3]

Herman never married or had children.^[4] As a young man, he worked as a farm laborer.^[5][6] In 1950, he was working as carpenter, working on homes and farm buildings.^[7]

Herman died on 6 Dec 1988 in Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Licking County, Ohio.^[1] He was buried in Jefferson Cemetery in Blacklick, Franklin County, Ohio.^[8]
