Biography

Mary Cordelia Swanson was born on 15 September 1887 in , Henderson County, Texas.^[1]

Mary married William Thomas Jackson (born on 30 January 1883). Their known children were:

• William Thomas Jackson (1911–1911)
• Infant Son Jackson (1927–1927)
• Walter Louis Jackson (1930–2016)

In 1910, Mary (22) was living in Justice Precinct 8, Henderson with her parents, Thomas J (48) and Sally (42); and her siblings, Thomas (24), Cecil (17), Amus (12), Grace (8), Lilly (5), and Minie (1). ^[1]

In 1940, Mary (52) was living in Henderson with her wife, Condie (52); and their son, Walter L (9). ^[2]

Mary died on 4 November 1973, aged 86. She was buried in Malakoff Cemetery, Malakoff.^[3]
