Research Notes
Birthplace: On the passenger list,[1] Daniel and everyone in his family list their birthplace as "Plomberg" and "country from" as France. On his census records, his birthplace is listed as France. On several of his children's death certificates, his birthplace is listed as Switzerland[9]. From my Google searching, the only Plomberg I've found is in Austria. No records in Europe have yet been found for the family before the came to the US.
