WEDDINGS

Morris—Sturt

When Miss Jean Ethel Sturt was married to Mr. Warren Henry Morris, she wore a long trained white lace gown and a tiered tulle veil arranged with a halo of orange blossoms. The veil had previously been worn by her mother. She carried a bouquet of white stocks and wore a crystal pendant, a gift from the bridegroom.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Sturt, of Waratah, was given away by her father and was attended by Misses Joyce Shoesmlth and Joyce McCann, and the bridegroom, who is the son of Mrs. E. Morris, of Mayfield, was attended by Mr. W. King and Mr. Harry Wilson. The marriage, which was followed by a reception at Mayfleld Methodist School Hall, was celebrated at Mayfield Methodist Church by Rev. Silas Bernbrick. Miss Stephens played the organ and Mrs. P. Tait sang.

The bridesmaids wore large matching picture hats with their forget-me-not blue bouffant frocks. They carried bouquets of daffodils and Lady Hilton roses. Amber pendants were gifts from the bridegroom.

The bride's mother wore a navy cloque gown, trimmed with white. Her hat matched the frock and she wore a spray of flowers on her handbag. The bridegroom's mother was in a navy blue frock and matching hat. Her posy was worn on her handbag. When leaving for Sydney, the bride wore a blue frock, a lightweight coat and small hat.
