Research Notes
Richard Garland Stringer, Sr's son, Richard Garland Stringer, Jr. ordered the military headstone for his father on September 2, 1967. The date of birth is given as June 2, 1897; however, the date of birth listed on his WW I draft registration is May 5, 1895. Although it is probable that the date on the draft application is the correct one, I kept the date used on the headstone application (Davis-90577 02:04, 4 September 2023 (UTC))
