Leo Alvan Stowell was born on 23 June 1901, in Henry, Illinois, United States. His parents were Hermon Abel Stowell and Christena Harriet Murchison. ^[1] He married Evelyn Lois Mediger on 24 May 1936, in Sibley, Minnesota, United States.^[2] He lived in Sibley Township, Sibley, Minnesota, United States in 1940 and Henderson, Sibley, Minnesota, United States in 1950. He died on 3 October 1984,^[3] in Le Sueur, Le Sueur, Minnesota, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Gaylord, Sibley, Minnesota, United States.^[4]
