Biography
aye Soter, 90 ZANESVILLE - Faye Soter, 90, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department. Faye was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Cambridge, to the late Paul F. and Esther L. Wogan Stotts. Faye was a member of the Brighton Presbyterian Church. Faye is survived by sons, John J. (Jeanine Griffin) Soter Jr., Curt G. (Marilyn Davidson) Soter, Mark A. (Ruthann Kessler) Soter, and Tim A. (Jane Casteel) Soter; a brother, Dwight (Charlene) Stotts; sisters, Wanda (Tom) Creeks, Ruth Taggert, Peggy Bagley, Glenna (Don) Dilts; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and her faithful companion, Peppi, her poodle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, John J. Soter; a daughter, Judy K. Soter; brothers, Jack, Dale, Ralph, and Ronald Stotts, and a sister, Gloria Wells. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at The Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 W. Military Road. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dale McCallister officiating, with calling hours starting at 10 a.m. in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in The Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the Brighton Presbyterian Church, 771 Lexington Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
