Christopher L Stewart was born on January 11, 1860 in Alma, Appling, Georgia, United States, son of William Gordan Stewart (1829–1906) and Thirsia Anne Lee (1831–1909). In 1880, he was living in Appling County, Georgia with his parents and siblings.^[1]
