Biography
William Grigsby Stewart was born about 1812 in Halifax, Virginia. He married Mary Parmelia Wash on 22 Feb 1831 in Trigg, Kentucky. Children: George Washington, Melissa Ann, Mary Nancy, James W, Henry Clay, John Marshall, Amelia Elizabeth (Bettie), Thomas M, Sarah Catherine. He died about 1874 in Hopkinsville, Christian, Kentucky.
