During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.
Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.
If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email address for WikiTree is one you actually still use.
Thank you!
Missy Berryann Co-Leader, Nordic Project
When you have your part of our One Big Tree fleshed out and you are ready to supplement it with DNA test matches, please check out the DNA Help category page to see all the DNA help that is available, and the How to Get Started page in particular.
When you are ready to start documenting that your genealogy sources are confirmed by DNA test matches, be sure to follow the guidance at the DNA Confirmation help page. After that, try out the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker app, it can simplify the job.

I apologize for any confusion. I proposed the merge w/ support from other members and wrote a lengthy, detailed description of wanting p.m.'s to work together in order to correct/merge/help source and separate these two profiles now before more people were confused.
More specifically, the new George Proctor appearing on my GEDmatch suggestions was one of several duplicated profiles recently uploaded despite already having or appearing to have to have existing profiles in the Wikitree database. So the profile for your George Proctor has a different birth date from the other profile but you connected him to the same wife (Katherine Frank/s), same parents & gave him the same death date and / or location (apologies as I don't have it in front of me) as another George Proctor with an established WikiTree profile. Since the new profile had no sources attached and as you mentioned there is a lot of misinformation out there I asked for a collaboration of minds before automatically rejecting the profile. Another reason is because there are 2 men, father and son, with same name- George Proctor. So to answer your question regarding sources for two marriages, yes there are several on the pages listed and a quick search will give the following from FamilySearch w/ supporting sources "George Proctor wrote his will on 23 March 1731 (current calendar), and it was proved in court on 7 August 1738. He named his wife, Mary, and his children: (1) George (2) John (3) Margaret (4) Mary (5) Elizabeth.
Note that George was married twice, first to Katherine Frank (marriage record for 1694), and secondly to a Mary, who is named in the will and was identified as an executor of the will in 1738. Mary is also mentioned in a 1729 land transaction, acknowledging her dower rights; therefore, she and George were married by that date."
I hope this answers everything. I was not looking for nothing other than collaboration because it is easier to prevent further misinformation or accidents when caught early. I stayed up all night caught in a cycle of proposing and detailing each merge and am leaving this for someone else at this point but will request adjustments to the reltives' pages as it doesn't make since for my 11th great grandmother to have two husbands with the same name linked to her profile etc. Let's chat over email with anything else and I am more than happy to provide citations, websites and even names of WikiTree pro members who may be better equipped for this conversation. Have a wonderful weekend! Becks
On behalf of the leaders of Southern Colonies, this is the semi-annual polling for the US Southern Colonies Project. This check-in with members is to see if you have been active in the last six months in this project and want to remain a member of US SC?

I look forward to hearing from you.. Many thanks,
Mary, Project Coordinator, - Membership US Southern Colonies Project
Have a good 6 months of Southern Colonies activity.
Regarding Charles Stewart. I even have two Charles Stewarts born in the America, of Scottish descent. I looked at your contributions and found this https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stewart-2717
You could include a note about disambigulation of Stewarts....
Thanks,
Mary
I can't see your followed G2G tags to check if you have mayflower listed. Having mayflower listed is now a requirement of belonging to the project.
To check this: On Your profile, towards the top, look for "Communication Preferences:Use this new section to introduce yourself to cousins and other genealogists." Click on the link. In section 4. Add mayflower if you don't already have it. Thank you.
Anne B, Mayflower Project Leader
