Biography
Sarah was born in 1853. She passed away in 1934 and was buried in the Palestine City Cemetery, Palestine, Texas.[1]
1900 Census: Sallie Whiteherst and her husband Simon Whiteherst (52) were living on a farm in Milam County, Texas. The record notes that Sallie was 46, born in Texas during October of 1846, and that she had been married to Simoe for 30 years. The couple have 6 of their 13 children living in the home.[2]
