Robert Henry Steward was born on 4 April 1918, in Cherokee, Cherokee, Iowa, United States, his father, Dempster Benedict Steward, was 24 and his mother, Nora Blanch Mongan, was 29. He had 2 sons and 4 daughters with Joan Clemens. He died on 27 April 1992, at the age of 74, and was buried in The Holy Trinity Cemetery on River Road between Morrisville Pa and Yardley, Bucks, Pennsylvania, United States.
