Gene Stevens was born 28 April 1929 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
He married Rita Garrow in Rhinelander on 26 March 1952. Gene served with the US Marines in the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1954. Gene was a truck driver, licensed pilot, and woodworker. He was building his own plane at the time of his death.
He died on 26 Sep 2007 in Rhinelander.
