Marjory Stephenson was born in Cambridgeshire, England.
Marjory Stephenson MBE FRS ARRC was a British biochemist. In 1945, she was one of the first two women elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.
Marjory was the daughter of Robert Stephenson and Sarah Rogers.[1] She was christened on 20 March 1885 in Burwell, Cambridgeshire.[2]
In the 1891 census Marjory (age 6) was living with her parents and sibling in Burwell, Burwell, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]
In the 1911 census Marjory (age 26), Lecturer In Domestic Science, was the single head of household at 31 Ravenscourt Park Mansions, Hammersmith W, Hammersmith, London, England.[4]
In the 1921 census Marjory (age 36), Bio Chemical Research, was the single visitor of Robert Stephenson at Manor House, Burwell, Cambridgeshire, England.[5]
Margery did not marry and had no children.
She died in 1948. [6]
