Maria Theresia (known as Theresia) was born in Alpthal, Canton Schwyz, Switzerland in 1797. She was the daughter of Martin Steiner and Apollonia Bisig.
She married Zacharias Fässler (1795-abt 1870) on Oct 25, 1819 in Alpthal. Son of Felix Fässler & Katharina Kälin. They lived on Masolen Farm in Alpthal and had 16 children; 12 boys & 4 girls.[1]
