Biography
William Statham, husbandman of Shottle, Derbyshire, made his last will on 5 December 1627 leaving his house in Hazelwood to his eldest son Richard, land in Hazelwood Field to his youngest son William, the remainder of a lease in the Little Lees to his third son Henry, and other items to his second son Thomas. The will was proved on 24 July 1628.[1]
William Statham of Shottle was buried at Duffield, Derbyshire, on 6 July 1628.[2]
