Hi Don, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically significant ancestors? I see you have surnames for tags. Why don't you stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

Looking for some great ways to help out our collective effort? The Volunteers Needed page is the place to go!

Let me know if you need any help! We're glad to have you on board!!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Be sure to look for Duplicates before adding a profile, and always include Sources for your information.

The Help Index covers topics you may have questions about.

Our G2G Forum is where many of our generous members help each other out.

Hi Don, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. We are building one Collaborative Tree with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section or the G2G forum

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, Patt
