Research Notes

• The probate record for James H Starkweather states Carry Starkweather is the widow. The 1870 census for James Starkweather does list a Carry M Starkweather age 24 and James age 51. The probate record also states Mary Jane Harper, as a sister of Carry. Mary Jane, age 31, is also on the the 1870 as well as two Harper children. Based on the probate record and the 1870 census it hard not to deduce that James Starkweather was married to Carry M.
