Biography

Son of Thomas and Patience (Unknown) Starkweather - he was baptized into the South Society of Preston Church on 19 Jul 1715.

Father, Thomas Starkweather, mentioned Benaja in his will, written March 31, 1744: "Item. I Give unto my Son Benniah out of this my Estate Five Pounds Old Tenor Bills as above Said by my Executor within two years after my Death and and that with what he has allready had is ye whole of his portion out of my Estate." Will was presented in the Probate Court held at Norwich, Conn., 27 April, 1751. (no source)
