Mary Stanton, born Feb. 3, 1687 at Stonington, Connecticut, was a daughter of Joanna (Gardiner) Stanton and Robert Stanton.

Mary Stanton, dau. of Robert and Joanna (Gardner) Stanton of Pawcatuck, Stonington, Connecticut, married Jan. 1, 1703/04 at Stonington, Daniel Denison [b. March 28, 1680: son of John and Phebe (Lay) Denison; d. Oct. 13, 1747]. The marriage was performed by Nehemiah Palmer, J.P. ^[1] They had at least nine, perhaps ten children ^[2]; baptismal dates indicated for most ^[3]:
