Hi Mary,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I looked at all the groups. Jamestown Team would be great. I would not be good with Georgia and only have limited South Carolina connections - but have at least 4 Jamestown Ancestors and all of Virginia, North Carolina and some in Maryland. I hope I am replying on the right e-mail. I sent you a response via my cell phone on the other e-mail but probably didn't do it right. Still learning this site and still have to upload a lot more data. It took me weeks to work on all the merges I had to do on my first upload. Thanks Mary
