Abigail Sultana Stanley was born on 5 Oct 1846 in Swans Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA, daughter of Edmond R Stanley (1815 - 1871) and Betsy (Smith) Stanley (1819 - 1888).

Abigail married Fredrick Dunham , son of Elisha H Dunham and Abigail Gross. Their children were:

1. Amanda Mae (Dunham) Sprague (1878 - 1939)
2. Arthur Alton Dunham (1882 - 1918)
3. George Winfield Dunham (1884 - 1958).

Abigail died on 11 Jul 1911 in Deer Isle, Hancock County, Maine aged 64. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Sunshine, Maine.
